The process of making brass products

Handmade brass products need clay sculpture prototype before production. Clay sculptures are re-created after repeated guesswork and reflection by the sculptor based on the original sketch design.

Clean the surface of the clay mold with silica gel, take out the mold, fill with resin after drying, and fix the mold with silica gel, which can be stored and used again

Pour the melted wax into the silicone mold to form the wax mold. After the wax model has cooled down, in order for the pattern to become clearer, it must be repaired with appropriate tools on the surface with different patterns.

During the production process, it is necessary to carry out three suspension processes of the product, respectively wrapping four high-temperature refractories of different materials and attaching them evenly to the surface. After that, it will be dried for about a week. Ventilation, humidity and temperature balance must be maintained.

After sticking the paste, the wax mold in the inner cavity must be removed. When production is required, the mold after dewaxing will be fired again, and the copper melting on the other side will also be carried out at the same time. According to the requirements of customers, the materials that require solutions are also different. Of course, we will choose high quality raw materials to ensure the final effect and quality of the product.

When the fired mold and the copper water have reached a certain temperature, pour the copper water into the mold and let it cool. It should be noted that too high or low temperature on both sides will affect the casting result.

After cooling, the shell is usually beaten by hand to obtain the final copper ware. Details are processed by sandblasting machine.

The surface of the product needs to be sanded and polished, and gaps and trachomas need to be filled and sanded to make the surface smoother.
